Cowboys vs Packers 34-31 NFL Playoff Recap, Aaron Rodgers Greatness, Dallas D

We recap the Cowboys vs Packers NFL Divisional playoff matchup with the Packers coming out ahead 34-31. We look back at how our predictions for the game went and how our matchup breakdowns played out.

The Cowboys, coming off a bye, started slow with mistakes and Green Bay jumped out to a 21-3 lead early. With Dallas being a greatvrunning team all year, they curiously went away from the run on several short yardage situations. While the Cowboys were able to dig themselves out of a hole and tie the game at 28, and later 31, Aaron Rodgers was too much for Dallas. Rodgers scampered out of the pocket and threw a 36 yard strike down the sideline to Jared Cook with just seconds remaining setting up the winning field goal for the Packers.

It’s going to be a long offseason for Cowboys fans. For Packers fans, if they can stretch this win streak to 10, they’ll have yet another Lombardi Trophy in Titletown.
